Chocolate Protein Powder balls

 

Delicious PROTEIN-PACKED snack!

This is an extremely practical, yet filling snack. I would recommend eating these before an intense workout, or even just a quick breakfast on the go. Protein powder is such a great tool to meet your macronutrient goals, but just remember that it lacks the other vital nutrients that can be found in meat or plant-based proteins!

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups old fashioned oats

2 T cocoa powder

2 scoops Tera’s Whey Grass-Fed Organic Chocolate Protein Powder 

1 cup Barney Butter almond butter

½ cup honey

1 t vanilla

Ground flaxseed to sprinkle on top

Procedure:

Combine all ingredients and scoop about 2 tablespoons and roll into balls. Sprinkle with flaxseeds. Freeze or refrigerate. If frozen, thaw slightly before eating.
